A blow-molding machine is a crucial piece of equipment in the blow-molding industry. Many users have found that, during prolonged use, if proper maintenance and upkeep are not carried out, the likelihood of malfunctions in the blow-molding machine increases significantly, which can in turn lead to substandard molded products. So, what should be done if the molds produced by the blow-molding machine are of poor quality?

A blow-molding machine is a crucial piece of equipment in the blow-molding industry. Many users have found that, during prolonged use, if proper maintenance and upkeep are not carried out, the likelihood of malfunctions in the blow-molding machine increases significantly, which can in turn lead to substandard molded products. So, what should be done if the molds produced by the blow-molding machine are of poor quality?

1. If the mold fails to take shape during blow molding, the first thing to check is the pressure of the blow-molding machine. Under normal circumstances, the air pressure should be around 2.0–3.0 MPa. If the pressure is normal, you’ll need to verify whether the mold’s venting structure is properly designed, and then adjust the temperature to an appropriate level.

2. If the blow-molding machine manufacturer’s products exhibit bottle bursting during the blow-molding process, the manufacturer recommends checking the setting of the venting time. If the venting setting is normal but each blow molding cycle still results in an explosive sound, it can be determined that there is a defect in the vent valve. In this case, please open the vent valve to inspect the condition of the spring housing and seals, or replace the vent valve altogether.

3. If the blow-molded product appears whitish, you should appropriately lower the temperature or increase the rotational speed.
